Ashada Masa and Vardanthi Mahotsava 2025

Karnataka earlier use to known as Princely state of Mysore. Goddesses Sri Chamundeshwari is a Nada Devi of Karnataka and Dasara is celebrated as Nada Habba (State Festival). It is also called “Kravncha Peet” as one of the shakti Peet of Sati devi.

Ashada Masa is considered as one of the best time to worship Shakti or devi upasana. Every Friday is considered as best day for devi Upasana. Following are day in which Devi Chamundeshwari been worshipped and darshanam on top of chamundi hill is scheduled as follows:-

June 27  1st Ashada  Friday

July 04  2nd Ashada Friday

July 11  3rd Ashada Friday

July 17 4th Chamundeshwari Vardanthi Mahotsava

July 18 5th Ashada Friday

Special Darshana Tickets are available

1. 2000 Rs ticket for Premium Darshanam and Devotional Kit available.
2. 300 Rs ticket for Special Darshanam.
3. Free Dharma Darshanam is also available.

Laddu prasadam is available at 25 Rs each separately.

Private Vehicles are not allowed on top of hill on all Ashada Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s. Free KSRTC Buses available from the foot of hill to temple and vehicle parking is available at the foot hill. Devotees are facilitated with drinking water, cleanliness and toilet facility. CCTV camera’s are facilitated for protection. Prasadam is available in Annapurna during afternoon.

Note:- Ashada masa special that devotees at Mysore and all around offer prasadam at foothill because of there vow get full filled.
